Our Story

Ice Cream has been served at 807 N. Quentin for nearly 30 years...in 2017 Brian Wallers had a dream to bring delicious Ice Cream with a great atmosphere to Palatine.  That is when Daisy's Malt Shoppe was born.  Named after Brian's dog Daisy the shop quickly became a hang out spot in Palatine for families and kids.  Daisy's is known for it's great atmosphere, great (and loud) music, delicious Ice Cream and amazing staff. 

We proudly serve Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream. The decision to have our Ice Cream sourced from Chocolate Shoppe in Madison, Wisconsin was the key to our success! A lot of people ask us if we make our own Ice Cream and the answer is no but we get it from a local supplier who makes the best Ice Cream in the country.  And we aren't just saying it - try it and tell us who is better!

The Palatine community and the surrounding communities have supported Daisy's and made it what it is.  You can get Ice Cream anywhere but there is something special and different about Daisy's. In 2022 the Minton Family took over ownership of Daisy's with Brian's blessing.  Nothing changed but the name to Daisy's Ice Cream (not much of a change).  The Mintons are lifelong Palatine residents and  are keeping the original vision of Daisy's alive while giving the community a local business they can be proud of!
